MUSAIC

British audio startup MUSAIC is manufacturer of the award-winning multi-room system features both high-resolution audio playback and home control functionality. It allows users to enjoy music in multiple rooms, create and control lighting scenes and moods, and combine with home automation hubs and apps to create a fully customisable smart home.

The Musaic system includes two speaker units – the larger MP10 Music Player and smaller MP5 Music Player optimised for smaller rooms. The MPL Music Player, which allows Musaic playback functionality to be added to any stereo system, TV or AV Receiver, will be available later in 2015.

MUSAIC MP-10

The MP10 Music Player features fully digital amplification and outputs 60W across two 45mm high-frequency/midrange drivers flanking a centrally positioned 90mm front-firing subwoofer. The rear grab handle also acts as a discreet bass port to further aid low frequency reproduction. Patented HDSX® signal processing expands the listening sweet-spot to provide room-filling stereo sound, wherever you’re listening from. The MP10 features a high-gloss top panel with touch control for audio and lighting.

MUSAIC MP-5

The MP5 Music Player features fully digital amplification and outputs 36W via two full-range 55mm front-firing drive units. Patented HDSX® signal processing expands the listening sweet-spot to provide room-filling stereo sound, wherever you’re listening from. The MP5 features a high-gloss top panel with touch control for audio and lighting.

MUSAIC MPL

The Musaic MPL can connect to anything with an analog ‘line-level’ input (such as a ‘CD’ or ‘Aux’ input). It can also connect digitally to anything with an S/PDIF or TOSlink (optical) input. Via line level the MPL offers variable or ﬁxed output from a very high quality ESS SABRE™ DAC. The MPL also features IR learning with IR blaster output and an emitter out for volume and mute commands. Of course the Musaic MPL can also work with other Musaic Music Players for a full multi-room audio experience.

MUSAIC PRO -MZP

The Musaic PRO-MZP Professional Installation Zone Player is the first custom install product to combine the convenience and cost effectiveness of consumer multi-room with an extensive and carefully crafted set of features uniquely suitable for the professional installer. The PRO-MZP packages all the functionality from the start-up’s consumer wireless HiFi system, including compatibility with lighting systems and smart home features, into a form factor suitable for custom install. The PRO-MZP can be rack mounted, mounted in structured wiring cabinets or placed in a ceiling void, and is controlled via Musaic’s intuitive apps for iOS and Android. It offers high-resolution, high quality audio playback of music from phones and tablets, NAS drives and UPnP/DLNA servers as well as streaming services including Spotify, and access to more than 20,000 internet radio stations.
